Are you looking for a great way to do some fundraising and support a worthwhile cause?
The Grape Stomp has teamed up with Open Heart Kitchen this year to create some pledge opportunities for teams and individuals.
Plege a $1 or more a mile and collect donations to support the Open Heart Kitchens in the Pleasanton/Livermore area.
Pledge forms and information can be found on their website.
In addition, the race will make a donation to the Alameda County Food Bank on behalf of Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

The weather forecast for this weekend is sunny and warm, 75 degrees! If you are going to race PLEASE pre-register to avoid long lines on race day. Last year we had almost 150 people register on race morning and had to delay the start for everyone. Online registration is open until midnight on Thursday, October 22. You can also register at the packet pickup locations on Friday and Saturday. If you are still procrastinating, save yourself some time and download the entry form and bring it with you if you are coming to packet pickup or race morning.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Livermore Area Parks and Recreation district has asked us to move the Start-Finish area for the event. Please review the map locations on the photo.

Register early to ensure that you have a timing chip and a spot in this race. There will be a limit of 850 timed runners for this race. We may not be able to guarantee a timing chip on race day if there are a lot of Saturday registrations.
T-Shirts are only guaranteed to pre-registered runners.
Online registration ends at midnight on Thursday, October 22nd. After that, on Friday and Saturday, registration will cost $5 more for each distance.
Early Packet Pickup and race weekend registration will be available on Friday, October 23 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet in Pleasanton and Saturday, October 24 at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation offices in Dublin from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Check the schedule link on the column to the left for more information on the weekend's schedule.

There will be packet pickup on race morning at Robertson Park for those who are unable to pick up their bibs and chips on Friday or Saturday. Packet pickup starts at 7:00 am on Sunday and closes 15 minutes before your start...so plan to be there in plenty of time if you haven't picked up your packet early.

REFUND POLICY: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THIS EVENT. EVENT CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINES LISTED BELOW IF NOTIFIED PRIOR TO THE EVENT. THERE WILL BE NO EVENT CREDITS ISSUED AFTER THE EVENT.
EVENT CREDIT: IF YOU WISH TO WITHDRAW FROM THE EVENT, AN EVENT CREDIT TO ANOTHER FINISH LINE PRODUCTIONS EVENT OF 50% OF THE ENTRY FEE CHARGES WILL BE ISSUED IF NOTIFIED IN WRITING (EMAIL TO info@finishlineproduction.com OR BY FAX AT 831-338-2117) FOR: 1. ANY REASON, AND IF RECEIVED MORE THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE EVENT WEEKEND (OPENING OF REGISTRATION). 2. IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL REASON AND YOU ALSO SEND A LETTER FROM YOUR DOCTOR ADVISING US THAT YOU CAN NOT COMPETE WE MUST RECEIVE WRITTEN NOTICE MORE THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION FOR EVENT CREDIT: IF YOU HAVE AN INJURY OR IF A MEMBER OF YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY HAS A DEATH OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY WITH LESS THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE EVENT YOU WILL NEED TO NOTIFY US IN WRITING AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT, AND THE RACE DIRECTOR WILL CONSIDER THE REQUEST ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS FOR A CREDIT.
NO CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED WITH LESS THAN 72 HOURS PRIOR NOTICE IN WRITING.
ENTRY FEES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE TO ANOTHER PERSON (USATF CONSIDERS THIS FRAUD). IF YOU SELL OR GIVE YOUR RACE SLOT AWAY, BOTH YOU AND THE PERSON USING YOUR RACE SLOT ARE SUBJECT TO A TWO-YEAR SUSPENSION FROM RACING AT ANY USATF RACE. AN UNAUTHORIZED RACER JEOPARDIZES OUR LIABILITY INSURANCE AND CAN CHANGE THE PLACEMENT STATUS OF OTHER RACERS WHO HAVE WORKED HARD TO FINISH THE RACE.
